IT Manager
Oneida ESC Group (OESC) is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our information technology operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT leadership, cybersecurity (specifically CMMC Level 2), and industry standards such as ISO 9001. You should be adept at managing IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and leading a team. A solid understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, SharePoint, PowerApps, etc.) is essential. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all IT functions, including network administration, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, device management, procurement, and helpdesk support.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to ensure high performance, effective resource allocation, and professional development.
- Develop and oversee the IT budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing financial resources effectively.
- Evaluate and optimize the OESC software suite to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize redundancy.
- Review and approve IT purchase requisitions and manage device procurement.
- Provide end-user training on Microsoft Office 365, 3CX Phone System, LastPass, and other enterprise tools.
- Coordinate IT support for new office setups, relocations, and software implementations.
- Support the development of workflows and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 certification standards and processes.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT team.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to maintain a robust IT environment.
- Collaborate with operations teams for seamless software installations and updates.
IT Projects:
- Lead OESC's effort to obtain Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 within 18 months.
- Complete the CMMC Level 2 framework and ensure all supporting documentation is populated in the tracking software.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures aligned with CMMC requirements.
- Oversee the migration of OESC data and systems to the Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC).
- Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) and establish a company-wide removable media policy.
- Ensure ongoing cybersecurity compliance with CMMC standards.
- Lead the migration of file shares and project data to Azure GCC or SharePoint, aligning data structure with OESC's business and departmental needs.
- Manage the migration of the OESC Hub Intranet site from SharePoint 2016 to the Office 365 platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with SharePoint and PowerApps.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Familiarity with CMMC Level 2 and ISO 9001 standards.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, and other IT tools.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Expertise in device procurement, installation, and software support.
