Sustainment & Restoration Services (SRS) is an 8(a) firm that provides engineering, science, construction, munitions, and specialized professional services solutions for customers nationwide.
SRS has an immediate full-time opening for a PFAS Program Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager based remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale CERCLA-driven remedial investigation (RI) and/or remediation projects to address PFAS impacts for Federal clients to ensure that they are performed with a high level of quality and safety while on time and within scope and budget.
- Supervision of project teams and assistance in staff development/mentoring in technical areas.
- Client management and communication with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Project management experience to include managing schedules, budgets, and project objectives
- Demonstrated professional judgement, consistency and attention to detail with track record of high-quality work products and communication
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with investigation and/or remediation of PFAS compounds.
- 7+ years of previous experience in planning and/or executing environmental investigation and remediation projects
- Bachelor’s degree in geology/hydrogeology, engineering, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to nationwide project sites, as needed.
- Experience in writing and reviewing technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
- Demonstrated experience managing Federal projects/contracts (5 years or more)
- Experience preparing or contributing to project proposals and cost estimates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Certified Hydrogeologist (CHG) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certification or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed.
- Experience and familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, SDWA and various DoD branch (i.e., USACE, Navy, U.S. Air Force) regulations and reporting requirements.
