Oneida Environmental (OE) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Environmental Compliance Specialist.

Location: Work From Home with occasional travel (20-30%).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies multi-media environmental compliance programs, focusing on petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL)/storage tanks and water quality programs.
• POL and storage tank management.
• SWPPP, SPCC, FRP, and/or ICP development.
• Stormwater and wastewater inspection, sampling and reporting.
• Overall water quality program support.
• Author and/or review project Sampling and Analysis Plans.
• Provide reach-back support to field teams.
• Collect samples, analyze results, and develop reports in support of environmental programs for federal, state, and local clients.
• Preparation and technical review of technical reports:
  • Data review, option evaluation, and recommendation of best results.
  • Client interaction and presentation of options and results.
  • Production of deliverables.
• Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s high ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform updates and technical reviews of stormwater/wastewater reports and SPCC and FRP plans.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental issues as they relate to DoD compliance programs.
• Excellent communications, technical report writing, and fact and research finding skills.
• Knowledge of sampling, fieldwork, using field/measuring instruments, data analyses, and reporting.
• Advanced computer skills—MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, and Project.
• Ability to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or an advanced degree is preferred, and/or professional certification, in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of the United States Air Force and other DoD organizations.
• Knowledge of Air Force, GSA and United States Army Corps of Engineers contracting practices and procedures.
• At least five years of experience managing Air Force environmental compliance programs.

Compensation Range:

$85,000- $100,000
