Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, part-time Summer 2025 Proposal Writer Intern. This is a Remote position anywhere within the Continental US.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading proposals for federal government contracts
• Research government agencies, solicitation requirements, and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFAR)
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather technical content and project details
• Format, structure, and ensure compliance of proposals according to federal guidelines and client specifications
• Maintain organized records of past federal proposals and supporting documentation
• Assist in developing proposal templates, past performance write-ups, and capability statements
• Track government RFP releases and submission deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of proposals
• Support the proposal team in creating visually appealing, compliant, and compelling proposals

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Policy, or a related field
• Excellent writing, research, and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to comprehend and apply federal government procurement guidelines and requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Acrobat and proposal management tools is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a plus
• Interest or experience in government contracting, federal procurement, or related fields preferred but not required
